Greetings! I'm Nikki Lee, a seasoned Senior Director of Learning, Development, and Design. I bring over 25 years of design-centric expertise in education, industry, and innovation to the collaboration table. With a profound commitment to creativity and an extensive background in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Product Design, Web Design, and Curriculum Design, I aim to blend artistry with instructional effectiveness seamlessly.

Education and Expertise

 

I hold a Doctorate in Philosophy Education with a focus on Art Education from the University of Georgia, complemented by completing one year of a Master's in Instructional Design and Technology, resulting in certification, from the University of Maryland Global Campus. I also hold a Masters of Education with a concentration in Art Education and a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. My education experience spans 15 years, and I taught in both secondary and post-secondary, as well as led corporate training.

As a Senior Director at DoGoodery LLC, I lead the charge in instructional strategy, curriculum development, and digital learning solutions. My innovative approach is marked by a mastery of industry-standard software, including Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia. I champion learning evaluation methodologies, ensuring the impact and effectiveness of educational initiatives.

Design Thinking Across Industries

 

My diverse journey includes impactful roles with industry giants such as Disney and Amazon, where I showcased expertise in innovative learning content, gamification, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Subject Matter Expert and Content Developer, I co-developed the #2 ranked learning game for Club Penguin, amassing over 80 million plays in its introductory year. This breadth of experience fuels my belief that everything, from digital platforms to learning materials, involves design thinking.

My contributions to education leadership as a Visiting Professor of Art at the University of Georgia and as a teacher leader at Fulton County Schools in Atlanta, GA underscore my ability to apply design thinking to scalable learning experiences. From curriculum design to program alignment, I've strategically developed programs that align with organizational goals and deliver impactful learning experiences.
